The fact that they reinterepreted the modern day pantheon with characters that are just so perfect is stunning.I hate to say it but the most interesting characters to me were prometheus and zeus. I always wondered what prometheus would do to allievate himself off the enternal curse of having his liver eaten constantly by crows and to see that play out was so intriguing to me.

I also like when Zeus is potrayed as less stoic and more of like the fucking cunt he is.I lowkey hated that Blood of Zeus potrays him as some sort of benevolent god who obviously cares when its clear to many that hes an egomanic,power-hungry,less cannibalistic verson of his father.

In a comedy like this,character development overrides plot and there is a lot of character development.Not to mention that there is technically no plot just teachers trying to keep their school afloat admist constant changes to the environment and systems.I really also enjoy having a glimpse into lives that are usually such a focus in our childhood and adolescence but gradually fades to obscurity as adults.Especially since worldwide despite the profession being a beacon for the next generation isin't as applauded or considered dignified or even given DECENT pay!

The point is everyone should watch the show.Its amazing!

I loved the question of morality and how it was developed within the universe.The question on what really can be categorically classified as a sin and what couldn't.How subtle nuances in religions that don't evolve eventually end up in a convoluted system that everyone even God themselves fail at not only trying to save but also trying to control.Admist the giggles its a thought provoking series that makes your grapple with you're own notions,your pre-concieved notions and arrive at conclusions that you may not be able to deal with

Do not watch if you are struggling with exsistensial dread!

I really tried liking it.I mean I was constantly rewatching the first three episodes,looking for that bated breathe,that moment where I'd go "Okay lets stick with it"Ladies,gents and theys, it did not fucking stick.It was the MOST BORING detective series I have had the misfortune of watching.I was straining my eyes open as I got to episode 5 and realised that life is too fucking short to try and watch something you clearly cannot like.Cause I didn't like it.I didn't like it at all!

South Korea is a very homophobic country so to see a series being queer coded as opposed to being simply queer is necessary,their aren't just doing it to lure in queer people for the ratings.I've watched alot of Kdramas so it wasn't surprising to see the high school and friendship dynamic but the way it is handled here is well done as usual.You can always trust these type of shows to have really good character and plot pacing and progression to be good and not only that I loved the female leads cause WOOW QUEER LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL AND REAL AND PERFECT!

My only gripe with the show is how it handled one of the misdemeanors of the oldest sibling to the main female lead and also the father didn't seem as well written cause his actions were too vague to get his true intentions till the end but maybe I'm dumb or its by design.

.Here's my thing.I do not like it when a perfectly good show is ruined by prequels,sequels,reboots or in this case uncesessary seasons.So,to the only season I consider canon.Thank you for not being a piece of shit show and actually being worth the acclaimations.I enjoyed seeing how Gun tried to maintain his sanity and moral compass throughout the series despite most people abandoning them for the sake of seeing the piggy bank fill up.The detective character was though somewhat necessary,was a bit redundant in the grand scheme of things and the frontman was the perfect antagonist.

The series tries to come off as anti-capitalist and anti-tourism but it kind of falls flat and I'm not sure why.Could it be that the actors chosen could do to be at least less well known or the fact that it just comes off as a bit preachy?I'm not sure but something about the show didn't seem as gripping as they wanted us to be and I can TELL the director lowkey wants this to be the new "break the status-quo" series but if even I a person within a third world counrty can recognise half the cast then the fault lies with within you no? I could also be a cinephile but I don't think so.

I love girl from nowhere and it was depressing to see that the main actor,Kitty Chicha,would not be returning and instead an alternate universe would be made as opposed to the original sequence of events which was disappointing but understandable.This show made me work hard to try and be a good person cause the way someone would get wrecked for sometimes eveb the smallest of infractions would scare me shitless (Though most of them deserved the punishments)

And while it was airing I especially enjoyed reading fan theories . It's one of those shows that you cannot stop watching even if you wanted too.Like its just that good.So please watch it cause you'll truly enjoy it.

I mean its ayt I guess.At one point I was just watching it for Simu Li which says enough about how the show and how some of the characters fell short.I wasn't really a fan of Janet though I believe the vitriol was a tad bit too much aganist her when she is simply the only daughter in her family and EXPECTED to take over the family business which she did not want.I never watched past season 4 cause it got a bit too boring and as I was scrolling through reddit found out it became a caricature of what it was supposed to be which is depressing to see and a major bullet dodged.Anyway its a nice post work show that if you're in the right headspace may find it enjoyable to watch.

I love this show.I REALLY DO.This is the rare occasion where as someone aptly said on twitter "The bear would do well if it listened to its audience."The premise is good.The plot is fantastic.The characters (except Claire) are one in a million.I don't get why the director has managed to fail (My thoughts:Ditch Claire)The point is...I am willing to return it to its rightful five star position IF and only IF something changes within season 5.That's its Hail Mary otherwise I'll just drop the show and read fanfic cause if they won't do it.I WILL!!

When I say it is satisfyingly good to watch the plot unfold I mean it. I mean the anger,the grief, the heartache.Song Hye-kyo quickly became my favourite Korean Actress cause her ability to make me forget its even her in every show I've seen that has her starring is phenomenal.You are also tested on your ability to restrain yourself from jumping into the screen with the hopes of choking out at least one of those vile characters .And the ending...chef's kiss.I;ve never and will never believe in not causing harm in those who cause you harm.We have one life.Embark on the revenge and move on either in the grave beside your wrongdoers or otherwise

I was clutching my pearls,I was gripping the corners of the sofa.I was downright terrified.The thing with Korean thrillers is that they get so sadistic with the psychological torture that you end up wondering whether you're going to be able to sleep cause its in your head already and you're so gripped by it you think you may actually go mad with the person.Man I was freaking the fuck out and whats worse I was watching it through phone so I had to set my phone aside and do laps around teh room without any soothing music (I am a bit of a scaredy cat but I would much rather prefer gore that psychological torture.)

Another series that freaked the fuck out of me.My heart was racing and my chakras misaligned it was genuinely the most spooky shit I have ever experienced in my life and would only wish the main characters experience in that hostel on my enemies and I mean it.Like in one episode You can clearly see the meat looks weird and then we find out that the reason the meat looks weird is because its HUMAN MEAT! Never mind.Maybe my enemies don't deserve all of that.Anyway watch it its great.Terrifying.But great nonetheless.

You see how white men in their 30s feel about Japan?This is how I've always felt about New Orleans and Louisiana in general.Like the state is so vivrantly and unapologetically Black American culture and I'm sorry but I love it and when I heard about this show online I KNEW I had to watch it and boyyyyy what a whirlwind of events I experienced.To say that Louis de Pointe du Lac is my favourite character is very painful when Claudia de Pointe du Lac De Lioncourt exists but unfortunately that is the case cause I fell hard for him and his struggles.Lestat,I unfortunately love to hate you but I can only hope that teh vampire lestat clears everything out cause Louis is unfortunately an unreliable narrator
